This new Black Cat Alley mural is a home run!

This vibrant, anime-inspired piece is a bold tribute to Brewers All-Star catcher “Wild Bill” William Contreras, brought to life by Milwaukee’s own illustrator Brent Schoonover and painter Hannah Tews.

Thank you to the Milwaukee Brewers for helping to bring this new mural to Black Cat Alley as part of their #BeyondTheDiamond community engagement program.

Brent Schoonover

Brent is an illustrator and comic book artist known for work at Marvel and DC. His work includes comics, editorial illustrators, and packaging design, all with a style that marries retro and contemporary influences to create something truly unique. Hannah Tews

Hannah is the illustrator, hand letterer, graphic designer, muralist, and Chief Mischief Maker behind Terrible Tews. She finds inspiration in anything colorful and laying pattern on pattern.
