Black Cat Alley After Dark Spring 2025 Recap

The first Black Cat Alley After Dark of the season brought the East Side to life, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to kick things off. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an unforgettable evening celebrating art, music, and community. Here's a look back at a night that truly captured the creative spirit of the East Side.

A Night to Remember

The first Black Cat Alley After Dark of the season brought the East Side to life in the best way with music up, lights glowing, and the plaza full of energy.

On April 25, Ivanhoe Plaza transformed into an open air celebration of art, sound, and community. With projection mapping lighting up the surroundings and a steady flow of people browsing, dancing, and connecting, the night captured the creative spirit that defines the East Side.

Live sets from Jayden Wells (@jaydenwells.mp3), DJ Abilities (@djabilities), Kelly MAC (@djkellymac), and B2B Philia (@soundsofphilia) kept the music going all evening, while collaborators like Milwaukee Airwaves (@milwaukeeairwaves) and House Circuit (@housecircuit.events) brought the sound, lighting, and house music vibes to life.

From vintage finds to late night dancing under the lights, it was a strong start to the After Dark season and a reminder of how special the East Side feels when it all comes together.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the evening such a success. We can't wait to do it again.

Be sure to watch for details on another Black Cat Alley After Dark event coming this fall. We look forward to seeing you back in the alley soon.
