The first Black Cat Alley After Dark of the season brought the East Side to life, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to kick things off.

We're excited to introduce a brand-new mural to Black Cat Alley this year, "Up Up and Away," by Wisconsin artist and educator Arcadia Melster. Created in May 2026, this joyful new addition brings a sense of optimism, imagination, and perseverance to the alley, and we're thrilled to welcome Arcadia's work to our growing collection of public art.

We're excited to welcome Jeremy Novy back to Black Cat Alley with an updated version of one of the alley's most beloved murals, "Koi."
